L. Therese Pluff, age 83, of Fowlerville, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 in Ypsilanti.

She was born to Louis and Lillian (LaCrouse) Schmit on February 25, 1928 in Detroit. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, was a loving mother and a very special grandmother. Therese married Raymond T. Pluff, Sr. in Detroit in 1959. He preceded her in death in 2001, along with a brother, Louis Schmit.

Survivors include one daughter, Therese Marie McCloud of Fowlerville, two sons: Raymond (Suzanne) Pluff of Fowlerville, Mark (Arnanda) Pluff of Portland; five grandchildren, one sister: Karen Butler of Florida; one brother: Raymond Schmit of Warren.

A funeral mass was held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Fr. Bob McGraw officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
