Mary Ellen Tannar, age 90, of Webberville, died Monday, January 9, 2012. She was born March 7, 1921 in Highland Park to Roy J and Vita A. (Rude) VanWinkle . She married Ken Tannar on February 12, 1944. Mary Ellen was a member of Fowlerville First United Methodist Church. Surviving are husband Ken, son: Tom (Barbara) Tannar of Fowlerville, three grandchildren: Steve, Gregg (Suzanne) and Amanda and great grandchildren: Mason, Charles, Griffin and Luke. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Ann Lewis. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Niblack Funeral Home, Dillingham Liverance Chapel with Pastor Thomas Tarpley of Fowlerville First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial took place at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fowlerville Rotary Club. |
