Clarence “Dick” Meyer, age 90, of Fowlerville, died Friday, December 18, 2009 peacefully at home. He was born December 5, 1919 in Glendorf, Ohio to Herman F. and Paula (Karhoff) Meyer. He married his beloved sweetheart Elouise Swartz on August 30, 1941; she preceded him in death on February 4, 2007. He was a dairy farmer and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, where he was an usher for over 40 years. Surviving are two daughters: Darlene Littlejohn and Diane (Harmon) Zuck, five grandchildren Lori (Kevin) Byrnes, Patty (Den) Green, Walter (Kristy) Littlejohn, Kim (Jim) Kapp, Steve Zuck and 12 great-grandchildren, Brother-in-law Charles (Louie) Stringham and his sister: Agnes Fredenburg. He was preceded in death by his son: Dick James, three sisters and three brothers. Services were held Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Fr. James Lothamer officiating.
