Fowlerville man graduates from basic training

PFC Anthony M.A. Hegberg graduated from Army Basic Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on August 7, 2009.

Hegberg graduated with honors, ranking in the top 10 percent of his class. He served as Assistant Platoon Guide while at Fort Sill and was promoted to Private First Class.

Hegberg is currently stationed at Fort Sam Houston in Texas where he will complete a 16-week training program to become a Combat Medic.

Hegberg, the son of Stephen and Diane Hegberg, is a 2008 graduate of Fowlerville High School.
