Donald Laird, Jr. graduated from Fowlerville High School in 1999. After graduation Don then enrolled at Michigan State University to pursue a bachelor’s degree and major in human biology. Don graduated from MSU in 2007 with honors. He then enrolled into the physician’s assistant program at Central Michigan University and graduated July 24, 2009 with a grade point average of 3.95, specializing in gastroenterology. Don took his national certification test and received a score of 958.

He has chosen to practice at Michigan Gastroenterology Institute in Lansing.

Don is the son of Deborah Laird of Webberville and the grandson of the late Bill and Rose Huck of Fowlerville.
