LAUREN GRIFFIN & KENNETH KEETER UNITED IN MARRIAAGE ON OCT. 24

On October 24, 2009 Lauren Kathleen Griffin and Kenneth Chris Keeter were united in marriage. The ceremony took place at the lovely wedding chapel at Hawk Hollow in Lansing and was performed by the groom’s uncle. Given in marriage by her father, Jeff Griffin, and applauded by friends and family from near and far, the bride wore a strapless gown with gathered tucks and an embellished sash train.
The bride’s attendants in red with black accents were Amber Franzen, friend and matron of honor, Christy Keeter, sister of the groom, Colleen Obst, sister of the bride, Tori Stevens and Tara Higgins, friends of the bride.
The groom’s attendants, in black with red accents, were Ross Turner, friend and best man, Mike Nadal, Ramses Quiroz, Jose Resto-Maldonado, and Brittney Owens, all friends of the groom. The ring bearer and flower girl were Brendan and Zosia Jankowski, nephew and niece of the bride.
Following a formal reception at the Hawk Hallow reception center, the new Mr. and Mrs. Keeter left for a memorable honeymoon in Ireland before returning to their home in Yorktown, Virginia where both are employed by Northrop Grumman.
ASHLYNN McGILL & DANIEL FRAFF ANNOUNCE ENGAGEMENT

Ms. Tina McGill of Fowlerville and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Graff of Chelsea are pleased to announce the engagement of Ashlynn McGill and Daniel Graff.
Dan proposed to Ashlynn in Ann Arbor (where they met) on July 30, 2009.
Ashlynn is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A. in sociology and is an account manager at Steve’s Custom Signs in Ann Arbor. Dan is a graduate of Western Michigan University and Eastern Michigan University, with a B.S. in Engineering and a M.B.A. Dan is a financial analyst with Ford Motor Company.
A June 2010 wedding at Life Christian Church in Troy and a reception on the Ovation Yacht Charter on Lake St. Clair is planned.
COLLEEN GRIFFIN & BENJAMIN OBST UNITED IN MARRIAGE

On September 6 the scenic Wheatfield Inn in Williamston was the setting for the lovely outdoor wedding of Colleen Jeanette Griffin and Benjamin Patrick Obst.
Attended by family and friends, family, and out-of-town guests, the bride was escorted down the aisle and given in marriage by her father, Jeffrey Griffin. In colors of eggplant and rose, the bride’s attendants were Rachel Jankowski (sister of the bride), Nichole Lane and Sara Seckel (friends of the bride), Lauren Griffin and Dianna Costello (sisters of the bride), and Jannise Makins (sister of the groom).
The groom’s attendants were DeWayne Cook, Scott Cassaday, Steve Bartig (friends of the groom), Cal Williams and Brian Makins (brothers-in-law of the groom), and Adam Goodrich (brother of the bride). The ring bearer was Brendan Jankowski, nephew of the bride, while the flower girl and boy were Zosia Jankowski, niece of the bride, and Brandon Makins, nephew of the groom.
The couple was proudly joined in marriage by the bride’s uncle, Richard Johnson of Clarksville, Tennessee. A formal reception followed at the Wheatfield.
After a two-week cruise and honeymoon in Hawaii, the new Mr. and Mrs. Obst returned to their home in Royal Oak.
AMY HOLMES & JOHN BUSZKE ANNOUNCE ENGAGEMENT
Doug and Sherry Holmes of Howell are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter Amy to John Buszek.
