Get paid at your job and receive high school credit at the same time. Not a bad deal. Students, who have a job that is related to a class they are currently enrolled in, can sign up for the Work Based Learning or CO-OP programs. The forms for both programs can be picked up from your Counselor

If you have taken or currently in the Child Development class and would like to work at Kreeger or Smith Elementary School 6th hour, see your Counselor for a Child Care CO-OP program

STOPPED- Sheriff's Telling Our Parents & Promoting Educated Drivers- starting the 2012-2013 school year, FHS will be starting the STOPPED program, which teams with the Livingston County Sheriff Department to emphasize safety with young drivers. This program is geared to: Increase parental involvement in an attempt to reduce traffic crash injuries and deaths among teenagers and young adults.
- Emphasize the tremendous responsibility required when operating a motor vehicle and is designed to reinforce the mature driving habits exhibited when young drivers are accompanied by their parents.

- Provide parents with notification when young drivers fall short of parental expectations as well as a tool to immediately address risky driving behavior by their teens. Notifications will contain location, time, number of passengers and reason for the stop.

With the new partnership, students are now required to have a parent signature on the FHS parking permit application and are required to complete a form for the Livingston County Sheriff Department. To streamline the process, parents are strongly encouraged to accompany students to registration to complete the forms and purchase the parking pass, which is $60. A flyer with additional information for the STOPPED program is on the high school web page.
